Court Grants NVLSP a Filing Extension in the Haas Case

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has granted a 14-day extension to the NVLSP lawyers. The deadline for filing is now Monday, June 4, 2007. This time was requested to give the legal team additional time in the preparation to their Reply to the VA filing. No other changes have occurred in the Haas Case.

Additionally, they have made a statement regarding the recent posting by the Court of a dismissal of the Ribaudo Case:

The VA has voluntarily dropped their appeal of the Ribaudo Case. A dismissal is always good news, but it is not of major concern to the veterans waiting for a ruling in the Haas Case. Overall, just about everything of concern to the Blue Water Sailor is dependent on the outcome of Haas.
